Hosted jointly by the CanStroke Recovery Trials Platform and the StrokeCog Clinical Trials Training Platform, the 2026 Canadian Stroke Congress continues a tradition of excellence. Established in 2010, this uniquely Canadian forum brings together researchers, trainees, clinicians, allied health, administrators, policymakers, and people with lived experience to share new discoveries and innovations, the latest science and therapies, and to build relationships for future collaborations. The Canadian Stroke Congress continues to be the go-to meeting for Canada’s stroke community.

Scientific Program Committee

The Scientific Program Committee for the 2026 Canadian Stroke Congress brings together a diverse group of experts dedicated to advancing stroke care and research. Members include leaders in acute stroke, rehabilitation, prevention, and preclinical research, alongside specialists in neurology, OT, PT, SLP, primary care, and health systems. The committee also integrates perspectives from knowledge translation, hospital administration, health economics, stroke systems, and people with stroke lived experience to ensure a program that is innovative, multidisciplinary, and patient-centered.
