There are two designated poster sessions on November 28 and 29. Kindly set up your poster during the allocated set-up time so as not to impact other presenters and ensure you are present for both sessions.
Recommended poster information includes:
- Keep text to a minimum
- Ensure text is in large font
- Use graphs, charts and/or tables
- Ensure contents have a logical flow
- Make it colourful (if colour printing is available)
The poster board surface measures 4’ X 8’.
The maximum size for your poster is 42” x 90” but you do not need to use the full space.
Push pins/Velcro stickers will be provided for you to adhere the poster to the board.
Please note, poster presenters are not required to stand at their poster during the coffee break or lunch, but it is encouraged to have your poster up and be available should someone wish to discuss prior to the scheduled poster session.
Poster Session 1: Thursday, November 28
Set up: Between 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Session Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Poster Session 2: Friday, November 29
Session Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Tear Down: Please tear down immediately following the conclusion of the poster session
*Removal of posters at the end of the display period is the responsibility of the author(s). Posters not removed by the deadline will be removed and disposed of by conference staff. Please note that the posters will be held at the registration desk until the end of the conference, after which time they will be recycled.
Moderated Poster Session Guidelines
A moderated poster is a showcased poster with a short presentation component that takes place during the scheduled poster sessions. A researcher will be responsible for visiting your poster and the presenting author must be prepared to describe their poster for about 3 minutes (please also allow 5 minutes for questions). Moderated poster presentations will occur on both November 28 and 29 during the designated poster sessions.
