Dr. Ana Klahr is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Mental Health at the Augustana Faculty, University of Alberta. An early career researcher, she is a member of the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute and the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute.
With a PhD in neuroscience and a postdoctoral fellowship in neurology, Dr. Klahr focuses on using animal models to study stroke, including the pathophysiology, sex differences, and potential interventions. Their work bridges clinical and preclinical research, contributing valuable insights to the field.
